Public Reporting

Better Work cannot publicly post responses that include inappropriate information, including names of individuals, or information that would allow for an individual to be identified (for example, photos of people).

In addition, Better Work does not post responses that include profane, abusive or defamatory language; content that could be considered to violate national law; or content that attacks, threatens or insults a person(s) or groups of people on the basis of national or social origin, race, ethnicity, color, religion, political opinion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or HIV/AIDS status.

Factory Compliance Data
  • Only factories that have had 2 or more assessments are subject to public reporting.
  • Issues are posted publicly on the Better Work Transparency Portal.
  • Only the most recent assessment is publicly reported.
Factories can respond publicly to issues

Better Work will remove from the Transparency Portal any responses (including text, images, links to content, etc.) that it finds inappropriate, including responses containing any of the following:

  • profane, abusive or defamatory language
  • names of people, or information that would allow for an individual(s) to be identified
  • content that could be considered to violate national law
  • content that attacks, threatens or insults a person(s) or groups of people on the basis of national or social origin, race, ethnicity, color, religion, political opinion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or HIV/AIDS status
